"From the moment we arrived, the level of customer service was disappointing. During check-in, the front desk associate remained focused on her phone and did not provide the attentive or professional service one would expect from the Hyatt brand. As I was traveling with my family of four, we were only provided with two towels in the room. We requested additional towels on three separate occasions, including an in-person visit to the front desk, yet they were never delivered. This lack of follow-through was both inconvenient and unacceptable. While the food at the Astor Restaurant was acceptable, the overall service experience there was also lacking. The host and waitstaff displayed an attitude that did not reflect a welcoming or service-oriented environment. I travel frequently and have historically preferred Hyatt properties. However, this experience was far below expectations and has caused me to reconsider that preference."

"Broken lamp glued together and with a prerty questionable stain. Not that I am picky but it was the first thing I saw when I woke up or went to sleep. Leaking water in the hallway, and the restaurant wasnt open during our stay, whixh was part of the decision to stay there. "

"The Dartmouth House Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and cozy along with the common areas. The bed was ultra comfy and breakfast was included too. Milena and Gary were fantastic, they made you feel right at home. We stood in the Honeye room on the 3rd floor. This room includes off street parking which is a plus in this neighborhood. Rochester has a unique parking rule where vehicles need to be moved to the otherside of the street after a certain time. That said, I do suggest booking one of the 3 rooms which include parking to avoid having to constantly move your vehicle. Parking is tight though. We had a half-ton truck and maneuverability was a challenge. Fortunately our parking spot was a straight run to the street.Spaces are assigned based on the room. If you plan to explore Rochester either on foot or by car, this place is in the perfect location. It's a beautiful neighborhood with restaurants, stores and bars all within walking distance. We enjoyed nightly strolls and the beauty of all the large historical homes. This place is a gem...you won't be disappointed!"

"the parking area was very secure especially the underground parking. The fitness center was open 24 hours which is fantastic! The facilities were new and clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. "

"Great breakfast and location to strong museum. Pool was cloudy and had to shut down one day during day time. although 4 year old had great fun and made friends. Bunk bed not comfortable, bunk bed room very tight not a lot of space for 2 and 4 year old to move around."

"Kitchen needs serious cleaning and attention. Cabinets were filthy and had garbage in them. Dishwasher was horrid and could not be used due to stagnant smelly water still in it. Beds were very hard. Price was great and host was attentive. "
