Eduardo was very friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a great food selection. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located close to the main train station and metro, so that helps to move around the city and to take the trains to other parts of the country. The check-in person could have been more pleasant - smile and greet your guests maybe, but the security guy always had a smile and that helped make us feel welcoming. Our room key cards didn't work on two occasions, but was fixed quickly. The hotel does show signs of wear and tear but the cleaning ladies did an excellent job to keep things tidy. I did leave a tip for the cleaning ladies each morning before stepping out, only to find that it was not picked up. Noticed this in Lisbon as well - not sure if this is a European thing. Overall, if you're traveling with teenagers (we had two), and you want them in the same room but separate beds, then this Hotel is a good choice. If not, I'm sure there are better options in the city

This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel according to Expedia and google. It was pretty bad. The staff are very unhappy and not helpful. The room was dirty, we found hair in the bathroom, someone’s ear ring, part of the ear ring on the night stand, a melted chocolate in the fridge. There were no hand soap and no conditioner, we had to asked for it. The blow dryer did not work and worst of all the phone in the room did not work. WiFi is pretty bad and does not work in the room, you have to go to the lobby. So if there is an emergency you are screwed. Will never go there again

Very old property looks like out of a 1980s movie. Property and room smells like sewer water. Property managers deny the smell acting like we are making it up. I recommend to NEVER staying at this hotel. Pay the extra money for something worth your WHILE. 0 STARS

The hotel very close to the central station and the metro, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring Madrid. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the air conditioning, which wasn't working properly. Fortunately, it was windy during my stay, so I could open the window for some fresh air.

The hotel is outdated definitely not a 4 star, we stayed here 3 nights it was convenient and a walking distance from Parque de Retiro also close to the main attractions of Madrid,unfortunately you can hear if someone is taking a shower or using the toilet in the nearby rooms also very noisy in the morning when the housekeepers come to clean the rooms at 7:30 am and it seems like they are renovating instead of cleaning, other than this if your not bothered by the noise is not a bad option for the price considering what else is out there
