"I appreciated the helpful staff, with excellent English for those of us who don’t speak German. Also, the always available coffee was great for my pre-dawn bird watching (which was excellent in the garden). It’s a little bit out of easy walking to places like the train station, and beware that Uber availability is poor in Lucerne."

"The hotel is so picturesque and cute. Even though the room was small, by gosh, the view from the window was worth the stay. It’s basically, a view of the famous mountains and looking down to the city of Interlaken . The outside appears like an old log cabin. The interior is decorated the same. Shower was strong and the room was clean. We had to open the windows for cool refreshing air and we were able to sleep soundly at night. No Noise. "Spacious room and access to kitchen facilities. Very handy to transport- buses, trains and ferry. Great cafe and food store nearby. Minimally furnished and only one towel for 4 days. Bedding smelt of tobacco smoke and not sure how clean the bedlinen was especially duvet and pillow. No response to my messages."
