Ballemberg stay

Exceptional stay, the staff were very accommodating. There was a day that we have to leave early and will miss breakfast…. Stella packed us food to go! The place is so serene and peaceful the view is amazing especially with foliage how we wished we could have stayed longer to see the peak of foliage.

Fantastic stay will visit again!!

A wonderful stay at hotel Alpenrose. We shall definitely visit again. The setting is idyllic, the hotel is comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was simple but nice. Only thing to be improved was the mattress (which may just not have been to our preference) and we would have preferred more pillows. Overall a lovely stay and highly recommended!!

The hotel with great service and food

We travelled with 3 Golden Retrievers and hotel offer us bigger apartment which was very nice. The breakfast and dinner were so good. Also very good coffee which is very important issue! The staff was great, very good sense of humor and very good customer service. The location was just perfect. Very quiet place. Greetings to staff for great experience with food and service.

we enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel for 4 nights, very friendly staff, peaceful place with gorgeous view of the mountains, we had a car to travel around and was close to everywhere, 5 min to Brienze lake, 18 min to intarlaken and less than an hour drive to Luzern, bern, lauterbrunen, grinderwald. Spacious and very clean rooms, house keeping everyday, good breakfast.

I like the feel of “home away from home”. The area is safe, quiet and you wake up with a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps. Breakfast was very delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. We arrive by car and parking was not a problem. Although, this is not on the main road, there is a walkable bus stop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brienz.
