"For the price, this had everything we wanted - access to a well equipped gym, sauna and steam room, king bed and decent breakfast. Staff weren’t overly helpful / customer service wasn’t great overall but in terms of facilities - the room was good, bed was comfy and the breakfast we added was good. Would definitely stay here again for a stop off if doing a long drive across the country again."

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Ideally located for our Alton Towers trip. Lots of nice restaurants in Leek too. Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels. Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually. Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Curlew Cottage. The location is great with fantastic views over the dales, although the weather was against us a bit. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed for self catering was provided. The only thing we would have liked was a mattress topper as my wife and I found the bed a little firm, but that is personal preference.
