"This is a historic house in Key West with a very convenient location near Duval and Elizabeth Street, making it easy to reach several of our favorite spots. The room was not as clean as we would have liked, but given the age and character of the home, it was somewhat expected. The walls are definitely thin, so ear plugs were helpful. On the plus side, the air conditioning and fan worked exceptionally well, which made a big difference in the Key West heat."

"The setting and location is ideal. The annex has some issues with air conditioning. Two units we were in had undersized air conditioners. The staff is amazing and we enjoyed our stay. "

"Cute little hotel, friendly staff, clear communication. Some of the hotel guests staying were rude to us but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Would only suggest emphasized communication on if this is a kids/no kids facility."

"I can’t say enough good about The Gardens hotel. Beautiful decorating and landscaping everywhere you look … our room combined old-world southern charm with modern bath and great amenities. The staff treated us with kindness and warmth. The breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order! We had breakfast in a beautiful outdoor area. "

"Lovely property and room. We stayed in a Junior King room on the 2nd floor. It was nice and the staff was great. The breakfast isn’t much but the area by the pool where breakfast was served was quaint and peaceful. "

"Super sweet and friendly staff. Perfect location: right off of Duval and next door to a CVS = perfect walking distance to everything. Rooms are updated and beautiful. The property itself is beautifully taken care of. Major plus is the happy hour on site and the breakfast. Came for my bachelorette trip and can’t wait to go back for a vacation or just weekend getaway."
