Quite possibly the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Blood on the shower curtain, floorboards lifted up, bathroom door kicked in and not even replaced just screwed back to the wall, front door wouldn't lock because it was so crooked and hanging off the hinge that it wouldn't fit, side tables not even cleaned, I can go on and on. Unfortunately due to our late arrival, 3:00 a.m., it was dark and we didn't see a lot of these things or we would have just slept in our car in the parking lot. Do not stay in this place if you value your health or your safety.

The man at the front desk discriminated against me for being a Transsexual woman and fried me ugly, and that I had his balls referring to his intimate parts he stole my deposit The next day I came back I gave him the key and he kept the deposit because he had another one made. Had to change rooms twice because the first room was way to small, could hardly move around. And the second room the bathroom sink was cracked and if I would've used the sink the water would have landed on the floor. At the end they did give me an upgrade that had a jacuzzi but because I paid for a standard room they said, if I use the jacuzzi I would have to pay extra.

Not being familiar with driving in the LA basin the Starlight was easy to find with the signs out front. Check in was quick and easy, parking was good and the room was very clean (loved the blue led rope lights for a night light) and we were close to the event we attended Saturday night. All in All would return in a heartbeat.

The woman that was at the front desk was not nice at all. She was too busy with her cell phone and was not paying attention. Some other person that checked in came back for his change which was not given to him and he had paid in cash. I was telling her that I needed hand towels and she said they were in the room and I told her that there were none. She should be fired never smiled and not friendly at all. I have stayed there several times in the past and never had a problem. She should not be in customer service at all.

A nice place to stay
The room & stay were good & comfortable. I slept very well. Their policy list is pretty long. No visitors, no bikes, no pets, despite having hardwood flooring. I'm assuming it's to help keep them looking nice. I would definitely stay again.

Good location but the room was too small and not very clean. The bathroom, too, was not clean. Nobody came to clean it on my second day there. No microwave. It was nice to see two water bottles and a small bag of chips, but one of the bottled water was open and it was evident someone had drunk from it. It was noisy as you could hear people screaming almost the whole time I was there. Internet access was inexistent. Check-in wasn't really friendly; it felt like I was being done a favor.

The property was dirty. First off it looked as if the laundry department did not put clean sheets when I was walked into the room I noticed hairs on the pillow cases. Not only this but the walls and the couch as well as bathroom were very dirty walls looked like they needed a good wipe down. I myself cleaned the room and when I left it looked clearer than when I booked the room. The staff was rude and service all together was bad would not recommend.

Staff were rude, i made a phone call to ask them for a bottom room due to my son was special needs and needed a bottom room. Staff informed me that they could not accommodate me that i would have to see of there were any available rooms when i arrived. if i would have called them 2 days earlier i would have canceled the reservation. Fortunately for us there were more bottom rooms than top. They also said they did not have a handicap room. Well, again person on the phone lied, because there was one room for handicap people.. The place was shady and dirty everything was broken. Our toilet we had to flush 3 to 4 times before the water went down completely, the ice machine was broken. Our little coffee table was wobbly literally rocking back and forth People above us were walking back-and-forth all nightlong with yelling and screaming outside. People arguing, which was very frightening for me and my son. i will mever stay there again. I would mot recommend it to anyone with small.children or handicapped people

Run down but Just fine.
Old and tattered, to be sure, but inexpensive. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong and refreshing. Management let me check a couple of bags for the day in the office. I had a good stay and bus stops were convenient for exploring the city. Just what i wanted.

The idiot at the counter would not let me have my room becuase my reservation was under "Tony S Franklin" and my driver license says "Anthony Scott Franklin". Obviously not an American. Probably didn't help that I was wearing a patriotic shirt. Can't say enough about how wrong that experience was.

it is a very simple motel, I liked the position and the free parking. the room is very simple but i think that some work has to be done. I didn't like the bed and the pillow that were too soft causing some pain at the neck in the morning after sleeping.
