towels smelled like mold or as if it sat wet too long. Bathroom floor title was coming up and so I assume that's why they black duck tape the bathroom floor leading out to the bed! Floors must be thin..I literally heard loud walking for 37min straight (who even walks that much) I recorded it! Used soap in shower meaning the cleaners aren't good! Trash dumping in a bin right outside my window. I paid $142 and would like my money back.

The Motel 6 is within the walking distance to Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, it has to use other public parking for the first night.

The only thing I’ll deduct points for is their elevator. It’s painfully slow, and often stops on EVERY floor while you’re on your way up or down. Please get this death trap serviced! 😂😂

Rooms were nice and clean and immaculate the one issue I had was with the staff. I came to LA at 10 at night and they said I needed to come back at nine in the morning to check in.

This Hollywood Motel 6 was wonderful. It is clean, updated and the staff is fabulous. Everyone was helpful, friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Jose, whom I believe is the manager, is exceptional. Hollywood Blvd isn't the greatest to walk but it's only one street and I was there was during the Oscars. I found all other streets were quiet and inviting including the street where Motel 6 is located. There's a great weekend Thai Food Fair a few blocks away with the best Thai food. This is a great motel to stay if going to the Hollywood Bowl, Dolby Theatre or as a central location to explore Los Angeles. Convenient location with easy on and off freeway access. I will go back there again.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Good location. Parking is limited. They have coffee and tea in the am. No shampoo or conditioner in the rooms as someone mentioned in another comment. We just brought our own from home. No issues with bugs, smells, loud noises or the homeless.

Parking garage has a security guard down there which made me feel safe leaving my car (cost 20$ a day). Front staff was fabulous! Receptionist gave a great recommendation for dinner which was a delicious dinner at an Italian restaurant. Hollywood Blvd is right there! It’s a 12 min walk to the Chinese Theater. 12 min drive from Universal Studios. Rooms were clean. Free coffee & tea downstairs. Microwave downstairs and tones of Vending machines. There is a Housing next door so a lot of activity in the front but they didn’t bother us. We would stay here again without a doubt.

A basic budget accommodation for the family to stay at while in Hollywood. Nice and close to shops, food, etc. We were nervous of the area on the first night but we got more comfortable. The staff were nice, facilities were fine, self-service laundry was convenient, parking was fine. We would have stayed there again when we returned to Hollywood about a week later but it was sold out.

It was a nice stay, prices were decent. It served it purpose. The downstairs parking guy was really nice and helpful. The staff frustrated me at first because of the horrible communication but they did make the issue i had right. So all in all in was worth the stay.

3 min leisurely walk to walk of fame. Place is clean, staff friendly and helpful, $15 uber ride to universal studios and would say good home base for a stay in LA. Motel is dated but all the basics you need is provided for. Room is clean and well taken cared for! Lowest price in the area! Homeless in the area but regularly patrolled and lots of security visibility on the streets. Hotel front desk staff keeps a close eye on cctvs for the whole bldg. Overall we had a great 4 nights stay! Highly recommend!

I didn’t rent a car so it was nice to be able to just walk the main street! The staff were very nice and accommodating. Only thing was that the walls seemed thin for at times could hear rowdy guests. But other than few instances I thought this hotel was great especially for the price. I would stay here again.
