Shangri-La Guilin
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is truly a 5+ star resort. The breakfast was incredible, the rooms more comfortable than I could imagine and the staff was so helpful friendly, and accommodating. I can not praise this property more and anytime my travels take me to Guilin this wull be the only hotel I will stay in. There is 2 restaurants 1 very comfortable and large bar a pools and absolutely beautiful grounds to stroll along with the peacocks that accompany you. They also have a travel agency on the premises that can quickly and bery economically provide you with transportation needs and sights you wish to see. I just cant say enough what a great time I had there abd the staff made it all possible"
GuiLin Lijiang Wangyue Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Centrally located. Four floors total. We got a nice view of the water facing the lake. Staff was extremely helpful and they go out of their way to help. Tip: get WeChat App and add the hotel contact and communicate with the language of your choice (ours: English). Breakfast was good but they don’t know how to make omelets which was disappointing! All in all great experience. Hotel manager: ask your chef to learn to make omelets."
Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel

"Wonderful stay. As seen in photos. Shower had very good water pressure and hot. Hotel staff helpful. Free use of moped and laundry. Paid Chinese massage was excellent and I would recommend."

Guilin O-LIVE Social Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our visit. The location couldn't be better — close to everything we wanted to see and easy to get around from. Staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was a highlight — good variety and quality to start the day right. A special shoutout to the local travel agency desk in the lobby — they gave us so much helpful advice on getting around and what to see, which made planning our days so much easier. It's a small touch that made a big difference to our trip. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!"
Guilin Bonjour Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The front desk staff, Maggie Hu, was amazing. She helped us with booking a six seater luxury van to help us get from our hotel to the Longji terraces on such a last minute request. Our family agreed that she made the best guilin noodles. The noodles were so good that we had requested to have it on both mornings of our stay. She made us feel welcomed, and a part of her family. Her generosity and hospitality will never be forgotten. It definitely made our stay memorable. We were traveling with two teenagers and a child. The rooms aren’t the largest, so we had to book two rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious."
Peach Blossom Resort Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at the Peach Blossom Hotel, 10 mins Didi outside the busy centre in lush surroundings with lakes, farms and karsts. The hotel is in a small settlement opposite Reed Flute Cave which was in itself stunning and 10mins walk. The hotel is on a cycle path through the hills and to the two centre, e-moped are available for free for guests. We even played football with the locals on thr nearby pitch. Laundry was provided for free and we recommend the Chinese massage offered by the hotel. Qin was our host, advisor, cook and friend. Breakfast was made from delicious local dishes and ingredients cooked while we waited. The room was spacious, clean and with tasteful traditional Chinese furniture and decorations. Beds super comfortable. Missing just a small fridge! Highly recommend, step out of the hustle and bustle into the slower pace of a Guilin village. Easy to get Didi to all main attractions including Daxu. Thanks to Qin for all of her care and help."
Holiday Inn Express Guilin City Center by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel staffs are excellent and super kind. After checked out the hotel and I was on my to next city, I received a test message from the front desk staff and was told that I left a bag in the room I didn't even notice. They sent the bag to my next destination so I didn't need to worry about it. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name, but everyone works there deserved a hat off for the excellent job they've done."
