Really enjoyed my 2 nights stay at Ruby Lucy Waterloo. Appreciated that my room was ready early as I arrived at 2pm. Room was cozy and trendy. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to Waterloo station and could walk to some of the main London touristy place. And the Staff is lovely. I strongly recommend for anyone looking for a hotel in London.

A very funky and quirky decor makes for interesting surroundings. The rooms were simple, but more than adequate for what we needed. Good shower, hairdryer, very comfy bed and all super clean. The shower/toilet area is a bit unusual being two glass boxes, but it just added to the whole quirky and different vibe. Staff were friendly and accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Easy waking distance from Waterloo station and Tube.

Easy access to Waterloo station and nearby bus routes. This gives you convenient access to top central tourist activities but still takes a bit to get to. I have stayed in a Ruby Lucy in Geneva that had more of a wow factor both in the overall appearance of the location itself as well as the breakfast specifically. This was a good value for the price.

Very clean hotel with nice warm welcoming staff. Two issues, our room was far too hot and stuffy, we had turned the heating off early but it made no difference as we had no windows to open. Just solid glass was all we had, so we had a very uncomfortable night without much sleep. Second issue was the buffet breakfast! It should read continental so don’t be fooled. We both came down looking forward to egg and bacon etc…. What we was actually offered was luke warm ham and a few other small offerings including antipasto and pastries but not much else (not exactly the breakfast of champions) So disappointing as we both do not like continental so wasted a payment for breakfast that we didn’t have, and had to go elsewhere for. Based on this we would not stay again but we did like the place. Clearer descriptions really would help as we may not have left very tired and very hungry. A disappointing end to a lovely break.

Overall, we had a great stay at Ruby, Lucy hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Drinks at the bar was good and the rooms were small but comfortable. The only thing that I did not like it is how cold it was in the rooms but very warm in the lobby. We came in the winter time and so we expected to be able to use the heaters. We had two rooms and which, the heaters did not work and either room but like I said, the lobby was always warm so we did not understand that.

The Ruby Lucy was wonderful and in a perfect location. Tons of eating options right on the same street, a two minute walk to a very central train station and even a pharmacy and other markets just downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable with anyone you would needs. Would definitely return here when staying in London in the future.

The beds are so comfy! Water and free hot tea accessible on every floor. The staff are all nice. I arrived before check in time and was allowed to check in early because my room was ready. The lobby has pretty decor. Great location if you arrived to London by train at the Waterloo station(hotel is next door to the station). Short walk to the tube to go to Heathrow airport. No complaints!

This hotel has an amazing cafe and bar at their ground level. Great for some us time after long day. Rooms are little small and they don't have anyone to escort you and your luggage. Ladies working there and cleaning are very helpful and nice. It is walking distance to london eye and few bus tours stop and other things. I would prefer and recommend new travelers to stay near Piccadilly circus or oxford street. But price location ambience is 100/100

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly impressed me with its self-sufficiency and modern design. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could tell that this hotel was thoughtfully designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Its self-sufficiency and modern design set it apart from other hotels, creating an environment that was both environmentally conscious and visually appealing. The hotel is quaint and charming. My room was lovely and had a very pretty patio. The food at the restaurant was quite good, and I was impressed with the staff. They were friendly and accommodating. A great hotel! The hotel is within a quick walk over the bridge to central London. Very pleasant stay; I would stay there again!

Terrific area. You are in the middle of London but you don’t feel it on the small, quiet street. Lots of dining options right at the front door. Convenient to Waterloo Underground. Hotel is small, boutique style. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The team were fabulous. The location is great and the room nicely appointed but slightly worn with a slight musty smell in the shower . I would really have appreciated a clear shelf or table for my case. So, generally very good.

Great hotel and location but a poor breakfast.
We chose this hotel because of the location for a venue were visiting on the weekend. It is on Lower Marsh which is a great street for restsuramts and a few bars. The hotel is very friendly, clean and comfortable. The big downside is the 'Breakfast' it is a cold continental breakfast which i didnt expect so very disappointed, even the boiled eggs were cold. The only hot thing available was toast. The staff were great and service was excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and I must say, its location is truly superb. Situated in close proximity to Waterloo station, the convenience of commuting was awesome! The London Eye is right around the corner as well. What truly sets this hotel apart is its strategic placement within an hour's walking distance to most major attractions. Exploring the city became a delightful journey, with landmarks and cultural treasures easily accessible on foot. While the hotel isn't right next to major shopping hubs, the nearby train station made retail therapy a breeze. The seamless connectivity allowed us to indulge in shopping sprees without any hassle. One minor suggestion for improvement would be the inclusion of a mini fridge in the room. Given the expensive dining options in the area, having the convenience to store our own food would have been a welcomed amenity. Nevertheless, this small detail did not overshadow the overall exceptional experience. In summary, this hotel's great location, proximity to key landmarks, and ease of transportation make it a top-notch choice for anyone exploring London's wonders.

Trendy Downtown Haven
The hotel is nicely situated between multiple bus and underground stops, as well as being next door to a major train station. There are a lot of amenities within walking distance making the location ideal. The staff was always very friendly and willing to help. I absolutely love that by taking the reduced cleaning schedule, I got free drinks at the bar (which was very well stocked and supplied delicious cocktails). The only thing I wish I clarified is the days to expect cleaning, because I missed one due to leaving the do not disturb sign on the door (my fault, not the hotel's). As for the room itself: comfortable bed, very soft pillows, and it was so quiet. I barely noticed my neighbours and this was when the hotel was fully booked over the weekend. The breakfast buffet is a fresh continental offering, with amazing coffee and a fantastic selection of custom tea blends. The products supplied with the room (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, lotion) are all high quality and smell incredible. I'm very glad I can order more to have at home, because I fell in love with them. Overall, this was a fantastic stay at a hotel that felt luxurious without being stuck up about it. I will absolutely be going back, and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a trendy, central spot in London.

I have traveled all over the world, Ruby Lucy Hotel ranks up there as the most eclectic. It is truly incredible how the have woven a circus theme into a delightful property.
