Room/bed/bathroom was clean - a little dated throughout but clean. Staff were lovely and changed our rooms to ‘better’ ones before we checked in which was great. Tea/coffee/milk in rooms but our kettle tasted of cleaning fluid. The hotel is in a great location and that’s a real positive - and let’s be honest, we’re in London and out and about all the time. We had a great 1 night stay.

Only review I’ve left after hundreds of business hotel stays. Unfortunately I didn’t stay at the property. Picked up the key went to the room and within 2 minutes left again. The outside looks fine, location is fabulous, the guy on reception was nice enough but the condition of the property is unfortunately very run down and requires a reasonable level of time and effort to restore. It just wasn’t for me. I found another hotel.

Rose Court Hotel delivered exactly what we hoped for during our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. The team was incredibly accommodating and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. I enjoyed my stay a lot. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, they treat you like family. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, just what I needed after a long day of travelling followed by an event. The actual building in it's self is beautiful and is well located. I travelled solo and as a young female it can be very difficult to find good hotels that don't take advantage. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay which is highly valuable. The only downsides was general upkeep of the building and some very slight cleanliness issues in the bathroom. The room was quite warm and I couldn't turn the radiator off. But these are only very basic issues and had little to no effect on the quality of my stay. Definitely good value for money. I would stay again and can highly recommend for people who need a safe and comfortable place to stay for a night.

Good location in a nice area. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was satisfactory for a short stay and had the amenities we needed. The tv remote didn’t work, it was replaced by the time we’d got back. It’s a very old beautiful building but tired now I’m afraid. No facilities for food at all. Apparently everything changed after Covid

We stayed for one night in the "lower ground" level. It was quiet and private, but access was difficult with bags. The Rose Court is functional, and bed layout was good, but is the hotel is in major need of remodel. If you need a budget location, it may work, but we won't stay again. Location was great and there is an excellent nearby restaurant for breakfast, La Masseria!

I hesitated to submit this review as the staff of this hotel were very kind and helpful, and I hate to come off mean. However this hotel, as others have noted, is quite run down and in need of a lot of updating and repairs. The carpet in my room was quite worn and shabby. My bedding was a mixed bag; the pillowcases seemed fresh and clean as did the comforter and top sheet. Yet oddly the bottom sheet was full of stains and quite gross looking. Since it was very hot when I was there, I got away with sleeping on top of the comforter and avoided the bottom sheet. The bathtub was extremely weird and scary for an older person. It was so high up off the ground I literally had to bend over it to climb in and out of it and hope I didn't slip and fall in the process. Once in the shower I was literally standing way up high off the bathroom floor level. There was no hand rail to hold onto except one extremely loose/wiggly one that was awkwardly placed along the top of the tub rather than on the wall where I could've had some leverage to more safely climb in and out of the tub. Again, the staff were very nice, but there were just too many things like this about the hotel that will prevent me from staying there again. Fortunately for me it was just a one night stay; I would not have been able to endure staying longer than that.

The outside of the hotel was attractive and the location was very convenient. The inside was very run-down however and my room in the basement was without heating and cold. Fortunately, the receptionists helped me and gave me an electric fire to use and repaired my TV which also did not work. Despite the nice staff, I will not return.

Convenient for the weekend

We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels lately and thus one featured a kettle plus coffee/tea. However it was the smallest room stayed in and very basic. Understandably the cost was great for London on a bank holiday weekend. Polite and friendly staff on the phone and reception upon arrival and check out.

Lovely friendly staff

Lovely friendly pleasant staff. Shame about the hotel, its very old and in desperate need of updating. The bed was quite comfortable so at least we slept well. Great location with some lovely restaurants around the corner and few minutes walk to Oxford Street & Primark. Nearest tube is Marble Arch, 5 mins walk.

This is an ancient & faded hotel; like something from the 1950’s. But it’s very convenient location for central London. My room was tired and tatty but had clean bedding and a clean bathroom. It was a very late booking at an excellent price and so it did the job it needed to do. The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful.
