"We loved our stay at this historical hotel. The location was perfect and walkable to many of the things we wanted to do. "The Maven Hotel was a delight to visit. We were able to check in early and the room was cute and cozy. "The room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. We reported the issue to the front desk, but instead of sending housekeeping, we were surprisingly handed a broom and dustpan and asked to clean it ourselves. I've stayed at many hotels over the years, and this was the first time I've experienced something like that. It was quite disappointing and not what I would expect from any hotel.
