Appears to be a repurposed convent. The dining room was probably the church (and is lovely). Hotel was hard to find (google maps did not do its job), and spaces in the garage were very small (as is usual in Spain). Lleida does not appear to be a prosperous city, and the general area around the hotel reflected that. Food was very good, and so was the staff - friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable but somewhat plain (as seems to be standard for Paradors). Wifi/internet were good. Overall, I liked it and would return.

Hotel and staff were lovely, would definitely recommend. The castle was a block away and so cool, town was a little boring and hard to find any open restaurants.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff great. Take the board-dinner was fantastic. This hotel is very hard to find and finding the parking was worse. We were literally escorted by a police seat gent who we stopped to ask for directions. And we were given a room on a 95 degree day without a functioning ac. Fortunately there were extra rooms this night and we could move. The staff couldn’t have been nicer but surely the room’s readiness should have been checked. And signage to find the hotel and parking has to be vastly improved. After a 4 hour drive to get here needing police to find it was more of an adventure than we needed.

The Parador room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The Parador location was in the middle of the old town and was in walking distance of the old Cathedral and Plaza Sant Joan.

Loved the hotel and room. Neighborhood was not ideal for evening or night walks. I was trailed and almost confronted by several people one evening, luckily I was able to avoid any confrontation. Other than that, the stay was very nice and comfortable.

Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff that spoke English. Beautiful central sitting area and spacious rooms with luxurious bathrooms. Lovely buffet breakfast in the morning with option to order omelettes, fried eggs, bacon, etc. A short walk away from main shopping area and cafés. Parked car in a secure parking garage for around 15 euros. Getting to the parador was a problem as car’s GPS couldn’t find street until a helpful local put “carrer” (street) in front of Cavaller

Management should work on weekend to see what is going on and schedule more Food & Beverage staff. Bar staff alone with full lobby and Bar area only one staff working under stress and unable to deliver a proper service Breakfast same situation staff working under high stress with a lot of customers at pick hours and not enough staff to deliver a decent service. Otherwise the Parador is beautiful.

Unfortunately not too hygiene
Nice, clean hotel. However, when I first checked in to my room, room number 212 I saw urine on the toilet seat. Also a red lipstick mark on the glass cup. Hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. Refrigerator wasn’t clean either. But sheets and towels were clean. The location was good, close to shops and the cathedral, but there were too many sketchy people and homeless around. Overall a nice city but there aren’t much to do.

Excellent accommodation facilities in a nice histo
The Parador de Monforte de Lleida hotel is developed in an old monastery. The common areas maintain a pleasant ambiance according with the historic feeling. The rooms offer nice amenities, and the staff provides very good and friendly service.

Old Coventry experience
Amazing place. It was like a movie with rooms all around a cloister of an old coventry. Restaurant menu was retouched due to COVID-19 (that’s what they said) but still very good

Amazing!
Amazing! This beautiful, newly-renovated parador is amazing. It is a combination of modern and historical touches—high arches, large rooms modern bathrooms, beautiful decor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The central sitting area is perfect for a coffee, tea or drink from the bar. The buffet breakfast is full of high-quality items and a great variety. You can also order omelettes, etc., from the server. The bed was large and comfortable and the room had an open door to the small balcony. There was air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi in the room. The bathroom was large and modern with a walk-in shower with 2 types of shower heads and the bathtub next to it was also large and comfortable. It had two sinks and a large make-up mirror and hair dryer. The hotel is situated in the commercial district with lots of modern stores and cafes nearby. This hotel was the highlight of our trip!

This hotel is outstanding in every way apart from its location. Turn right out of the front door and it’s fine turn left up the hill out of the front door and you will find this area to be particularly run down and intimidating with groups of people hanging around with nothing in particular to do. This is a shame as logically that would be the quickest way to the interesting parts of town. Perhaps because of this all the local bars closed at 9pm and the latest we found to be open was until 11pm which was a ten minute walk back to the hotel using the safest way. Car parking is a short walk away which is a nuisance given they charge 15 Euro a day to use. The room was not cleaned until after 2.30pm after having reminded reception this was irritating as at that time we wanted to relax. Finding the place was extremely difficult and the sat navigation leads to dead ends and even when you are right on top of the hotel it is poorly signposted. If the hotel was picked up and landed in another area I would not hesitate to stay there again. The interior of this hotel is breathtaking it’s a truly beautiful place and the breakfast was extremely good. The staff were all helpful and friendly For example they had no problem to change our room to a room with a bath.
