Very disappointed!. We feel cheated. When looking to book, the picture shows the Kaype Hotel on the see front, BUT when booking the room, the room description comes up as Kaype - Quintamar which is NOT the same! After booking and paying the non refundable room rate, we got a email, saying not to expect a see view or balcony, as we were booked into the annex (this should have been explained before we booked).They make out it’s an annex at the rear of the hotel, but the reality it’s another hotel behind the Kaype Hotel with no views, a damp / musty smelling lobby, tatty stair carpets, tatty rooms, no one on reception, no on site parking (Reception and parking is at the Kaype Hotel) and for us, even worse, we were up in the loft space with no air conditioning and a low ceiling. Hit my head a number of times. We have been on a two were road trip and this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed at on this trip. I could go on, but the bottom line is scroll past this one and find a better hotel. 8 - 10 is not a fair reflection of this hotel. I would give it 5 - 10 and that’s only because of the location. Also could not get wifi in the attic room, but I guess that to stop anyone getting g on the internet and giving a bad review!

Nice ocean front stay…
We stayed here traveling from Haro to Montforte de Lemos…nice stay, right on the ocean, close to Llanes town. pics do not do it justice! I would definitely stay again. That said, restaurant needs significant improvements for quality of service…food was average-one of the most amazing views. Rooms had twin beds, booked double.

On beach
Hotel is being extended and building work going on so noisy during day, evening meals were too late on starting as based on spanish times. Meals inc a bottle of wine and water and excellent meals. Not a lot to do if weather bad and no evening entertainment. Walks beautiful but need a car to see best of area. Hotel is right on beach. Watch for when they collect sea weed from beaches though as this noisy and they charge extra for sea view.

Great location if you have a car, it's about 15minutes drive into nearest town llanes. Good food on the menu de dia.

Familienzimmer für bis zu 4 Personen war ok. Frühstückbuffet ohne Warmspeisen / Eier. Nichts für mehrere Tage. Abendessen - Menu de la noche kleine Portionen. Das ist insgesamt verbesserungsfähig!!!

Deficiente mantenimiento
Las puertas del armario ropero: sistema de apertura muy deteriorado. Es muy problemática y requiere esfuerzo su manipulación. La silla de la habitación muy sucia. Evidentemente ni la usamos. No repusieron gel de baño, al cuarto dia hubo que pedirlo. Por lo demas, buena ubicación, hotel tranquilo, garantizado el descanso.

Perfecte locatie, kan niet beter. Slecht restaurant, geen sfeer, geen vriendelijk ontvangst en het eten leek zo uit de magnetron te komen. Het ontbijt is het slechtste wat ik in lange tijd heb gezien, nauwelijks keuze in brood of beleg. Geen eitje en superslechte koffiemachine. Bijzonder gehorig en tot middernacht spelende kinderen op de gang… Echt jammer want in potentie is dit een top-hotel op top locatie.

En general el hotel está cerca de la playa , en las fotos que aparecian en internet eran las habitaciones con balcones hacia la playa , lo cual fue publicidad engañosa porque nos ubicaron en unas habitaciones a la vuelta de la calle, el cual ni siquiera tenían balcones , ni peor aun ascensor, lo cual es un problema a la hora de subir con las maletas!! El desayuno escaso, no habia mucho por elegir, diría que casi no tenias opción!! Lo único que se puede destacar para bien es el trato de las camareras que han sido muy amable!

Me gustó sobre todo la ubicación a pie de playa, la habitación era amplia, la cama cómoda y me encantó que tuviera persianas, cosa que no suele ser habitual. La comida también estaba muy bien

Ubicación excelente, a pie de la playa de Barro (preciosa). El hotel esta muy bien, la atención muy buena. Las habitaciones se ven un poco anticuadas por eso es un tres estrellas, con habitaciones actualizadas yo le pondría 4 estrellas.

Superbe emplacement Vétuste de la chambre , sèche cheveux ne fonctionne pas , la porte de la salle de bain frotte au sol très difficile à fermer L extracteur de la cuisine fait un bruit de camion, bruit penible malgré la fermeture des fenêtres et volet roulant...

La limpieza muy bien, la ubicación y el trato del personal excelente. El wifi bien. No entiendo como no dejan escoger en el régimen de media pensión entre la comida y la cena, cosa que permiten en todos los hoteles en los que he estado, que son muchos. Ademas la comida es bastante mediocre, albondigas congeladas , alcachofas de bote, patatas fritas grasientas. Un menú de únicamente dos primeros y dos segundos a elegir. Sinceramente sólo comimos en el hotel el día en que llegamos, puesto que en los alrededores puedes encontrar bastante mejor comida por el mismo precio e incluso menos. El aparcamiento no es sólo para clientes , sino que lo alquilan a las personas que bajan a la playa ,con lo cual es fácil que llegues, sobre todo al mediodía, y el parking este completo

Desayuno limitadisimo. Jamón dulce y queso de muy baja calidad. La Posada (que NO Hotel) se reparte en tres pisos escalonados: no hay ascensor y para nosotros fue un grave problema. La alternativa fue colocarnos en una pequeñísima y húmeda habitación frente al parking.

La ubicación del hotel es maravillosa, la habitación como pagamos para que nos dieran una reformada estaba bien; pero por desgracia ese finde hizo frio y llame a recepción para decir que no funcionaba la calefacción, me dijeron que en junio ya no funcionaba.... El desayuno poquísimas cosas y la comida y la cena no es bufet solo hay 2 platos a elegir!!!

El hotel es muy acogedor y el personal súper amable. El entorno maravilloso. Es un hotel bonito, la comida es buena y el precio bueno en relación a la calidad. A destacar todo. Por poner una pega pequeña: podría estar un poco más limpio, sin decir que está sucio. Está limpio, pero se podría mejorar. Por lo demás, fantástico y a repetir
