"They have pictures of nice and clean beautiful rooms in the website but this is not true. The room smelled and it had little bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has mold and it was very warm. The towels had stains. I would not recommend this unless your on a very low budget. "

"The room was great, only real downside was no air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave) but there was a fan provided so that gave some comfort. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is good, close to a grocery store and a couple cafes. Public transportation is about a 7-10 minute walk away for tram stops. "

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. Lovely to sit on your balcony overlooking the docks. Bed and bedding not the...

"We have recently stayed at this property and we couldn’t fault it - on arrival I asked if we could have a river view room instead of the one we were allocated and this was swiftly changed - the whole building was spotlessly clean and the apartment had everything we needed. There is a supermarket next door which we used frequently and the tram stop is just across the road…..fantastic! "

"Best hotel ever. Rooms were fabulous both visits. Staff were great and they were willing to look after our luggage, book cabs and were just beyond a smile. Love this hotel and if we are ever back in Bordeaux I would stay there again and again. Decor was also very nice. "
