"Everything about the hotel was very good (location, staff, room), with the exception of the breakfast. This was the 6th hotel we’ve stayed at in Puglia on this trip, and this was by far our least favorite breakfast. Limited selection of food, and the quality was well below any of our other stays"

"Whilst a little tricky to find at first (a few extra signs from the SS16/E55 main road would be HUGELY helpful) we fell in love with Il Trappetello! There is a rustic charm that is difficult to find, made all the more perfect by an amazing on property team led by Mario. Special shout out also to Franko who seemed to be omni present 24/7, and our cleaner whose name escapes us (Roberta?) who was always on hand and so eager to please. You'd be also hard pushed to find a better location from which to base yourself and explore the many beautiful towns of Puglia. Thanks so much to you all. XXX"

"The hotel is situated off the beaten track and it was very peaceful there, which is just what we were looking for. The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable, we also had a patio with a lovely double sun lounger. The bathroom was fantastic with a very spacious shower. The light fittings were stunning. The staff were friendly and attentive and we felt well looked after. The food was excellent at both breakfast and supper. The bar served great mocktails. We used the spa which has glass walls looking out at the view of the water feature and onto the wild natural area. We had it to ourselves, the massage was excellent, the whole experience was amazing. The only issue we had was the room was too hot when we arrived, we got all the heat turned off and we were comfortable after that. We could have done with more hanging and drawer space, also places to hang towels and bathrobes. "

"Room cleaning was lovely, gf options at breakfast which food was also good- we had no WiFi all week but they did try to fix it with a booster. Staff was pleasant and Massage was great! "

And our meals were beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend the property and giving a call out to our delightful server in the restaurant, Mario. Very close to Monopoli and other wonderful sites. Treat yourself to a memorable experience and stay here. "
