"Room was very clean as was the bathroom. It had everything you needed and it was all clearly labelled. Kingsize bed was really comfy. Curtains were blackout so no light got through. Situated in a lovely quiet area so there was no noise throughout the night. Throughly enjoyed the room. Had no issues are complaints. "

"We had Room 202, so that is the base of our experience. Staff was helpful. Beds was all right, clean comfy, but with only one pillow per bed; the other pillow was a decoration, I was undecided if there is fresh cover on it or not, so it's definitelly a no go for sleep. There is no fridge in the room, no elevator in the house but a narrow staircase. No chance for breakfast, however this hotel adverts itself as a FOUR STAR hotel for some reason. "I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...
