"We had a two night stay here in May. Firstly I’d like to say that the staff were superb especially Lucy who seemed to be there every second of every day looking after us checking in, out, breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much. The rooms were clean and the beds were big snd very comfortable. Excellent location in a lovejy area with shops a 2 minute walk away and the station 5 mins away to get into central Manchester. Overall a really nice stay in a nice clean hotel."

"The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us."

It was absolutely buzzing the whole time we were there - bands both nights, live sport in the day, but with the rooms being in a separate building out the back of the pub, it was amazingly quiet after the yard had been emptied. "A nice stay but could have been excellent with a bit more attention to detail. Could have done with a vacuum. Shower gel hasn’t been replenished and pillows weren’t great (not much to them). Great location for bars, restaurants and shops. Easy online check in with key codes entry (can’t generally get in early as it’s unmanned and doors don’t release until 3pm) - guy cleaning did let us in at 2:30pm though which was kind and appreciated. Parking is a pain (not owners fault) car park next door...

"Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy.
