"Perfect for overnight stop near JFK - only a 10-15 min transit via free shuttle service. Room was clean and functional and bed very comfy. Room had slight smell but nothing unpleasant. Staff were polite. Shower head wasn’t the best at distributing water and the sink took forever to drain the water. You need to board the Airtrain and get to Federal Circle station (one stop from T8) for shuttle pick up. Not a big problem but had to call hotel to get this instruction and they didn’t immediately...

"Terrible experience at Hyatt Grand Central. The room was extremely dusty and not properly cleaned. We found hair in the shower, sink, on the floor, and even on the bed sheets. I went to the front desk to report the issue, and I was told that someone would come to clean the room, but no one ever showed up and nothing was done. The only thing I had an issue with was we had trouble getting hot water for showers. Other than that this place was amazing."
