The property has a very Tuscan country feel and the staff was very welcoming. It was quiet and safe and the room was clean and large, bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend a stay here, the location is a very convenient hub for branching out to see various cities in the Tuscan region.

We had an amazing stay here!! The staff is absolutely phenomenal, very helpful and responsive. The property itself is beautiful and a very convenient location being so close to Montelupo train station. We used this to go in and out of the city only 30 minutes! Parking for the car was plentiful. Breakfast had lots of selection. The restaurant across the road is very reasonably priced with great local cuisine. The rooms were clean and stocked with basic necessities. The rooms have a unique charm to them. The only slight improvement would be a little update to the comfort of the bed. Overal I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience Florence and SG/surrounding area. Thank you!!

No Air Conditioning

The hotel advertises having air conditioning. This is not the case although the front desk claims that it’s centrally controlled and that “there’s nothing they can do to make it cool.” I was given a room that overlooks the adjacent street where cars and motorcycles fly by at 100kph. Attempting to sleep with the windows open (again, to try and cool the room down) is utterly impossible.

Ok I normally do not leave reviews and I like to let people find out for themselves. There was dirt and mold above the bed on a picture that they did clean and all I got in return for this disgustingness sleeping in it for two days was 1 free tea. They could have offered one night free for the horrible week old unrefrigerated hard-boiled eggs that were green brown and smelled like fish. I was lied to my face about how they cooked them in the morning and they didn't, everything sat overnight all day under glass. you have to refrigerate eggs!!! Just a lousy overall stay in what should have been an amazing experience because it's a converted convent but that's the best part of it. That room needs to be power washed clean it is filthy! The bathroom however seemed very decent. The room was very very small and right on the highway and the one good part about that was you knew it was time to go to sleep when the traffic died down. I hate to leave reviews and I know this is very negative but this place needs an overhaul!

Tout s'est très bien passé dans cette hôtel. Le personnel est au petit soin toujours avec le sourire et un petit mot gentil. La propreté est irréprochable les serviettes sont changées tous les jours ainsi que les taies d'oreiller. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pas très loin de Florence et au calme

Esperienza positiva, ambiente caratteristico. Personale super gentile e accogliente... la colazione? Non vedo l'ora di tornare per le brioches fatte da una pasticceria della zona e sono qualcosa di sublime!!! Si potrebbe aggiungere qualche marmellata o crema artigianale per accompagnare queste delizie.

Un piccolo monastero, il cui campanile suggerirebbe un’epoca templare, che isola i suoi ospiti dal mondo esterno pur trovandosi a pochi km dalla bratella principale che unisce Firenze, Bologna, la litoranea toscana. In poche ore ci si può rilassare abbandonandosi alle mani esperte di Lisa con una seduta di massaggio olistico; bevendo un the nell’antico chiostro; dormendo un sonno profondo, risvegliandosi con una colazione curata. La struttura offre i vantaggi di una gestione famigliare che colpisce per la sua professionalità e gentilezza. Non ultimo in stagione la piscina. Ottimo
