Everything has some good and some bad. The location was good, on the main street near the mall. The staff were nice and helpful. But the property was a bit run down. My room was on the 3rd floor and the shower gave barely a trickle, I mean it was virtually unusable, and would alternate between super hot and super cold, nothing in between. The internet kept booting me off. But if you're not into showering or internet, then it's a good deal.

Good: Jennifer and her sister were very nice and helpful with everything we asked for. Room was clean. Bad: The place needs lots of renovation. Towels were very worn out, so thin, that we could hardly dry ourselves. Other towel had holes. Pillow case had a big hole. Airconditioner was leaking water.

Very nice staff...always attentive to every need! My only gripe was that 50% of the time there wasn’t enough water in the tank to trip the shower heater on...so cold showers. Very close to a mall for shopping and eating and transportation. A very convenient place...I will stay again.

Chills!
ALL the Workers are very cordial and helpful. The only gripe I have is that they don’t keep the water level high enough in the tank for showered. When the tank is low, the pressure is low, and it doesn’t trip the heater to turn on for a warm shower. In a week have had only 2 warm showers...the rest were cold....showering twice a day. Good location as is 200 yards from the mall and food/shopping/transportation.

Not worth it, even for proximity to airport
Its about 30mins to airport on a good day because of traffic and lots of lical bbq and food establishments walking distance. Place had really dirty floors, don’t walk barefoot. Outdated decor, noisy if neighbours are not careful, moldy sheets required a change and possible bed bugs gave wife multiple bites.

Friendly and very assistive staffs. I will recommend to friends abd relatives. Much better if they will sell and cater foods for guests!

not a value for the money
the hotel smells as you enter, they attempted to blame it on recent smokers but it was the smell of musty unkempt surfaces. I booked a family room yet was surprised that it is no different from a standard room except they crammed in a bunk bed set. what good can be said about the place. the paint color was pleasing, tv worked. other than that I think you can find much better alternatives. this place is not in the business of servicing customers.

Dont expect too much for the price you pay.
Hotel is ok,if you are too fuzzy with cleanliness then don't stay in this hotel. Staffs are ok they are accommodating. WIFI is available thanks goodness, No elevator, shower is not functioning well, light switch is dangerously near the shower that it gets wet when you take a shower.Single lock door and unfortunately not very secure, tried opening it with a card inserted through the door gap and it opens No phone inside the room no emergency numbers displayed anywhere, very noisy outside you can hear a lot of noise when new guest arrives in the middle of the night.Location is nice its near Gaisano grand mall a few minutes walk.

Fridge in room unplugged but no outlet to plug in?.....staff very friendly and helpful. A mall within walking distance but the was half on the road with high volume of traffic. Although close to the airport as the crow flies, long drive all the way around the airport to get there..No restaurant and nearest place to eat is the dangerous walk to the mall area or by trike...I will not stay there again.

Horrible customer service
I arrived at about 1230 midnight with all my baggage and the night receptionist said she did not recieve my reservation from expedia. I did have a copy of my expedia receipt/itinerary. Rather than contact expedia or try to find a solution, the night staff informed me that it was my problem and it wasn't her job to help resolve the situation.

Need hot water, and better training.
It was roomy enough, but the hot water never did work. The toilet seat broke when I was sitting on it, im not over 200 pounds, and the front desk wanted to blame me when it was obviously very cheap. I had to ask for toilet tissue and towels, I had to wait hours to check in as they charge you to check in early. They only waved it as there was a guy there fussing at them about his room, and the lack of toilet tissue and hot water, and he was right.

Try Hotel California ONLY $6 more, better value..
Too much to tell, clean room, comfortable bed, no blankets available, good value for money, location on main road close to shopping mall. BIGGEST OBSTACLE ARE OWNERS OF PROPERTY. The gentleman from Belgium and his wife Filipina. Upon arrival 1:30pm, told check in was 3pm even though website shows 2pm, the staff wanted 100php per hour, paid money found out room only has top sheet on bed called "blanket", my mistake was answering hotel.com for "hows was your arrival", upon answering questions explained how arrival was, not pleased CAUGHT COLD. . Descending down stairs from 3rd fl (no elevator), was verbally attacked by wife in Tagalo to my girl friend screaming at her that you can leave now, heres your money if you are not happy. At same time gentleman making obnoxious statements addressed toward me even though I WAS BLINDSIDED that hotels.com gave them my arrival impressions already. . My OPINION would have been any CONCERNED PROPRIETOR might be concerned and open to criticism in wanting to know how to improve, this place was empty during xmas time, I had conversation in explaining that photos showed comforter even though not available, by the way I paid another fifty peso for additional blanket aka top sheet. The owners said that we changed FACEBOOK, i do not use that. Other concerns were no mat outside bathroom to wipe feet avoiding wet floors, no food or breakfast even though they have signage available, photos show restaurant next door but is currently a bank?

Consumer Beware!
I booked 2 rooms for my church missionary conference for two nights. On the second evening they refused entry of the other guests even though they were already checked in from the previous day. Where made to wait for several hours to get back into their room. Was awoken in the middle of the night by the staff because of their error in booking and needed to talk to Expedia to clarify payment. This hotel is run totally unprofessionally and is a hostile place to stay. Besides that the facility was dirty and run down. May have been inexpensive but was a disastrous decision to stay here to save a little bit. Buyer beware!

Hotel is not good.but the nearby locals is good.
We arrive 12pm but not able to check in because the rules is 2pm. We are from Manila. We check in past 2pm and the room is smell fresh but the floor is wet. the bathroom is wet with broken toilet bowl lid.around 5pm they asked for an excuse to us because they will change the toilet bowl lid but unfortunately it did not fit. The light is not bright or it was dimmed. There are old stains on bed sheet and the room has many tags "Eg. We will charge for any damage inside the room separately etc. and there is fine when you wash clothes inside the bathroom. There is ongoing repairs and maintenance (noise) in the building. The balcony is lock. there is no available toiletries inside except 1 tissue roll.bed quilt is so thin like old bath towel. We are in room 3 but other guests mistakenly entered into our room , me and my husband forgot to lock the door we are so nervous when somebody entered into our room.

My stay there was horrible the hotel europa was very unprofessional the staff/ owner is always noisy the bedroom is very bad they don't have a elevator no breakfast so we have to go somewhere else down the road to hunt for breakfast, but at the front desk they put a pictures that breakfast is available when you asked them they will say it's not available, I will never come back to that place again ,that place is not a place to stay when you need a quite place that place is very noisy you can never sleep there ,plus the staff is not friendly at all.....

Only to sleep before flying. Shuttle to airport was not available, should have been asked for "the day before", although we arrived the evening before departure.Taxi was correctly arranged by receptionist. Very small room, no outside windows. Cockroach on the corridor.Shabby bathroom, shower warm enough.

A budget hotel
A scuba diving trip from oct 4th to oct 9th in 2015. The staying with Europa was convenient and comfortable. The staffs were really nice and helpful. The room was okay for the price in Cebu.

Bad neighbourhood, scary looking room.
We pulled up when it was already dark outside and it was quite scary and in a bad neighbourhood, there was music being played quite loud starting at 4:30 am also construction going on in the room next to us at 12 midnight. Rooms seemed clean but just quite dingy. Would not wanna be walking around at night anywhere around this hotel. We would not recommend this hotel.

Dissapointing and misleading reviews
The family room that we booked is tiny with hardly any space to move around . We had to move to 2 standard rooms because of the congested space. The washbasin was leaking and despite notice to the staff the leak was not repaired, 2 brown-outs happened and there was no provision for emergency lights during the evening brownout. Staff are friendly but rather lazy and just kept chatting with each other and were not trained to attend to guests. The photo shown by Expedia does not show the current state of the hotel.
