"Everything was great! Customer service was also great! It was clean and they served a good breakfast. The pool and Jacuzzi was the highlight of our visit. The only complaint was the restaurant was closed and that was the reason we chose it. But it was centrally located to many good restaurants so it made up for that. The room and the common areas was very clean! Overall, a very pleasurable experience. "

"We stayed In room 212 from 7/03/2025-7/06/2025 for the 4th of July weekend the staff was friendly and helpful with our first time to New Orleans the hotel was nice but for the price we paid it could have been better even on the holiday weekend our room unit the fridge didn’t stay closed and it wouldn’t hold temperature at all and was off level and the stove top only heated in the center so it wouldn’t get the pan to hot and the A/C unit wouldn’t keep the room cool in the day time."

"Check-in and everything during the stay was easy. Hotel has a great vibe and handy location. I imagine some of the rooms by the street might have been a little noisy, but we had no issues during our stay over a weekend. We had a car and parking was easy, and not too expensive in the lot on the same block as the hotel. "

"I want to discourage everyone from staying at the Royal Frenchman… in order to keep this place to myself! Don’t stay here if want a modern hotel, with many modern amenities, lacking in character and charm. Don’t stay if colorful staff with a passion for the music of New Orleans ( which they bring nightly to the hotel lobby or courtyard) is not your thing. "This property was the perfect location, exactly between the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. We walked for everything - food, entertainment, etc. The historic building is charming and beautiful. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and recharging. The staff were more than accommodating! We will definitely come back!"

"Property was cool. Wife loves the whole haunted hotel theme. Loved that it was in the middle of the French Quarter. Christina was very kind and helpful. She definitely had our stay easier. Thank you Christina!"

"It is on a quiet edge of the french Quarter. Unusually for the area, it has private parking in a locked garage about 5 minutes walk away. I think we were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. The room was fine, not terribly big, but the balcony was an absolute delight! Covered; on 2nd floor (3rd in USA); great view down street; sun morning and evening. All staff on desk very friendly."

"For the rate it charged, I would have expected more. If the rate was lower, I wouldn't mind giving it a higher rating. No proper check-in area. No proper luggage storage area. The room was basic.
