"There is not a front desk person. It is self check in and out however you are provided a number if you need anything and they are very prompt at replying and getting whatever you need taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could need. It was in close walking distance of the Lake Side Beach. The hotel will provide you with 50% off tickets to the beach if you’d like. It is also very easy to walk to all the shopping/restaurants. We would stay here again. "

"Alpine Inn and Spa. Recently stayed at Alpine Inn at South Lake Tahoe. The location is across the street from the Harveys (Ceasars) Resort. The price is very affordable. The rooms are clean and neat. They have a pool and hot tub. Parking was plentiful. The management is very kind, knowledgable of the area and accommodating. The hotel offers 5 dollar vouchers for the beach, down the street. You just cannot find a better hotel than the Alpine Inn and Spa. "
