Pluses: - very friendly and helpful staff. - spacious room - very nice breakfast brought to your room each morning. - Nespresso coffee machine in the room - high quality Occitaine toiletries. - nicely designed and decorated rooms - convenient location - easy parking. Minuses: - Quebec City is hilly. Hotel is at the bottom of the hill. Attractions are at the top of the hill. Plenty of hilly walking. - small lobby."

"There was construction ongoing. Told we would see scaffolding but no warned about noise. There was quite a bit of noise through the day, which affected out enjoyment of the room."

"We had a large 2 bedroomed apartment. It was perfect. Loads of space, well equipped kitchen, free laundry facilities in the apartment and everything spotlessly clean. Onsite payable covered parking (pre bookable). 20min walk from old town Quebec but we didn't mind that. Nice streets nearby with supermarkets, quirky shops and restaurants. Fabulous place to stay!"

"Our stay at Le Capitole was outstanding. It is a lovely five-star hotel in a charming town. The rooms are large, comfortable and well-appointed. The location is fantastic, located right next to St. John’s Gate. And the staff is outstanding. They are warm, welcoming and very attentive. We can’t say enough about how much we loved our time there."

"Excellent location to nearby restaurants and tourist areas, such as river front and access to the lower level of the city. Hotel was very clean and staff was helpful. My only complaint would be one of the travelers in our group got hurt and needed ice for the swelling. Ice machine was not always working and they had to go across the street to get ice."

"Property was beautiful and very easy to Old Quebec areas. Room did not have the best view. One thing to mentioned is very tricky to managed cold and hot water in the shower. Had problems with toilet had to ask for them to use plunger. Pressure of toilet very slow."

"The charm is the small, boutique property in a great, walkable location. But what makes it special is the staff. Fara at the front desk made my stay feel warm and comfortable. She was always helpful with a kind and friendly demeanor. She went out of her way to show me around, help with my luggage (4 flights of stairs!) and greeted me by name every time she saw me. She even stepped in to set up and serve breakfast when needed, with a smile on her face. I hope they appreciate the gem they have...
