"Out of the five hotels l stayed in during this trip around Japan the Wakoshi Tobu Hotel was easily my favourite. The room was very clean and very comfortable, also very nicely decorated. The room was larger than what l've come to expect in Japanese hotels. Overall l've stayed in hotels costing very much more which were not as nice as the Wakoshi Tobu Hotel and l would definitely stay here again on a future trip to the area. The R Baker on the ground floor of the building is a great place for breakfast. "

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. There are no readily accessible eateries nearby. "
