"Of all the hotels I stayed in during my stays in Tokyo, the Nippon Seinenkan Hotel is the one (to date) I'm most likely to return to again. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff was wonderful, and - as a baseball fan - the lobby itself overlooked the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium. Situated between Shinjuku and Shibuya, it was in the perfect location to be both removed from the large crowds but close enough to enjoy the more hectic parts of the city."

"The Grandbell Hotel Shinjuku is a good, safe, and modern hotel, but it sits right on the edge of Kabukichō, which is Japan’s largest nightlife entertainment district. It’s a mix of tourists, bars, neon lights, nightclubs, promoters, hostesses, and love hotels. It’s not unsafe, but it definitely has a nighttime atmosphere that feels very different from the rest of Tokyo. Despite how Kabukichō looks: • There is no violence • There is no crime targeting tourists • No one is going to bother...
