"It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel ."

"This hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip in Japan. The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini. The rooms were great as the room and bathroom were more spacious and very clean. The public bath was also very nice and not very...

"The Ranzan Hotel is located in a great walkable section of Kyoto. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, but the bathroom fixtures are dated. The air conditioner had a hard time keeping the room cool during the heatwave."

Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. "The check in experience was easy and though it wasn’t too difficult to get to the property was more out of the way than expected for where we were going. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, but the room size was huge and having a washer and dryer on site was very handy. "
