"Santiburi in Koh Samui is one of the best hotels we have stayed. The staff are super friedly and helpful, the manager present and helpful, the hotel is in an amazing state and the rooms were wide and spacious. The food selection at the 2 restaurants was good, but the quality and the taste of the food was fantastic! The pool could be a bit cooler but that's also a symptom of the weather conditions. Highly highly recommended"

"I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Apart from the beautiful environment and facilities, the thing that makes it stand out the most is the staff and the attention to detail. "Property was beautiful. The grounds and rooms are pristine and calming. The amenities are very limited. A pool table that is oversized and a table tennis table that is falling apart. The main pool closes at 7pm which is an inconvenient when you want to relax after day excursions. The drinks are overpriced and very weak (I could not tell the difference between a virgin and non). As much as we loved the property and rooms, I would say the experience is lacking for the price point. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. Nothing quite compares to having your swimming pool outside your door. The room was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Ocean currents have removed most of the sand on the hotel's small beach. If you want a beach experience, you'll have to travel south to Chaweng or Lamai beach. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel."

"A potentially nice resort if the owner would care about her guests. They didn't. Breakfast very poor, coffee machine broken so they served this typically sour, old coffee. No pool staff, lack of chair matrasses. In the evening the resort is -besides the guard- dead. There is nobody from staff, only some guests. The resort is known around for a owner who doesn't care. Only stay there if you want a large villa with a perfect large bed, that's the only positive thing i can tell."
