"Beautiful setting with easy beach access, adequate pool (although only around 10 lounges are provided). Attentive check in and service staff in the beach-facing restaurant. Adequate buffet breakfast but the flies and mosquiotos are annoying. Other issues are the lack of evening entertainment (incl.music) - apart from the exciting fire show on Sundays. Also limited access to live Australian TV channels (some repeats are on Youtube). Resort can get a bit boring for a solo traveller after a couple...

"We stayed in the family room. It perfectly fit me and my 4 kids. There were two large king beds and one twin bed in a loft. It was clean. A fan room. The food here was amazing!!! Bottle Beach is my favorite place and Smile Bungalows made it an amazing trip!"

"We stayed on Koh Phangan for 11 days, from 2-13 August 2023. The resort is located directly on the beach, offers close shopping facilities and is well maintained. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. The absolute highlight is the family that manages the hotel. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Everyone is very helpful. After a few days you almost feel like part of the family. We can definitely recommend a stay and will definitely come back as soon as possible…"

"Lovely property with fantastic staff. Special mention for Rainnie for all her help resolving transport and changes. Villas arw spacious, clean and well maintained. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Shower pressure is good. Towels are big and special towels provided for those who attend parties and need to wash off paint. Little kitchen area and kettle and large fridge with bottles water. Very quiet at night. Decent size pool and sun loungers. Nice gym area too. "

"Older resort in a stunning beachside location with a huge pool. Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially Julie. My ground floor room was spacious with a renovated bathroom & terrace. Unfortunately the old, heavy timber furniture was dated, whilst the poor lighting, multiple light switches and heavy curtains combined to create a dark ambience. The bed mattress was firm and uncomfortable. Breakfasts were disappointing - eg limited range of cereals and fresh fruit, malfunctioning toaster....

"Firstly, the Staff are awesome and super helpful - they are all amazing! Unfortunately, the property is not on the beach and doesn’t have direct access with sun loungers and a dedicated beach area like the other nearby hotels. It requires a walk down a hill and a path thru other bungalows and is not easily visible especially after sunset. Other neighboring hotels offer better access and dedicated beach amenities. Also the room was in a building up a hill above the level of the pool and beach. ...

The area is a bit quiet, which is nice, but transportation is limited if you don’t rent a car. Breakfast was very good, and overall the service was excellent. "- Beautiful views - steep hill, but free shuttle is provided for going down and back. They even dropped us off and picked us up at nearby restaurants. Only issue was the shuttle stops at 5:00 pm. - great breakfast with first specialty coffee free each day. - near to lots of cool restaurants"
