"I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!"

"Bathtub was dirty. Ceiling was damaged. Not much to choose from for breakfast, cereal, oj and yogurt. Bed was fine and staff were nice."

"Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc."

"The stay was OK overall, but the floor from elevator to room was extremely cold ... which led my wife and I to not use the pool for fear of freezing when heading back to the room after a dip. But the last morning wasn't great. There were dogs in the breakfast area which caused me and a few others to just walk away and head to a local restaurant to get healthier choices."

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in through checkout, always willing to help with anything we needed. "We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. First night we discovered leftover food in the refrigerator and hair in the shower. We notified front desk and service was done by housekeeping. The most troubling situation was on the third day, we came back to our room door propped open. We had requested our room to be serviced at 10 am that morning before we left. "This hotel is located across the street from turning stone. We went to turning stone to golf and have fun. The shuttle service was excellent! We never waited more than 5 minutes. The staff was great and informative! The breakfast was very good as well. AND we found a lovely bistro about a minute west of the hotel where the food was great and we could fo a wine tasting."

"Pet fee was extremely high, almost the price of what I paid for the room anyway. Pool was not available for use. Room a/c was not functional, we were hot all night long. Breakfast was average but was nice to have. Would be a nice place to stay if these issues were addressed."
