"We booked a ground floor room as my wife has mobility issues and Chloe called me to say all was organised but when we booked in on the Saturday afternoon was told no ground rooms were available so my wife had to struggle up and down stairs all weekend. We were told when we checked in it was bad luck for us. Staff not very helpful or friendly so we decided not to get meals at the hotel "

"The Rivulet is located on busy Sandy Bay Road, which makes getting into and out of the property a litte tricky. It is conveniently located to the Salamanca Market, which we were able to walk to (30-40 minutes) and also to the Bruny Island boat tour pick-up location. Sandy Bay Road has lots of shops within easy walking distance (Coles and Woolworth). We especially enjoyed one of the bakery shops where we purchased meat pies and cherry tarts. "The accommodation/peoperty is in good condition and has been very well maintained as a heritage Victorian type architecture. The sitting area at the back was a bit messy and not well kept. It was great having a shared common dining room and sitting areas where we could relax, enjoy a cup of tea or a drink at the end of the day or in the mornings. "Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were able to do laundry easily (even on a public holiday). The area was great…convenient, lots of restaurants/services and an easy 20-minute walk to the waterfront."

"The hotel was nice, the parking is a joke. Motorcycles parking valay wanted 30 bucks each. They donr ide bikes, expect you to walk 2 blocks in full bike gear carrying your iwn luggage and try to charge you 30 bucks ontop of your hotel room for same. 11 bikers from Melbourne had a very heated conversation with the manager who looked about 15 years old, who said well you can always go park somewhere elses if you dont.like it.
