Old, dirty and in very poor condition
This hotel is in very poor condition and not well looked after. Had to go and ask for fresh towels after the first night and rooms are not serviced. The pool was green and filthy. the spa was below the water level and cold. pool cleaning equipment was scattered over the pool area and the "LAKE" is an overgrown duck pond. The grass was over a foot tall and the rest of the place is in disrepair.

The rooms cutains were broken. Doesn't look anyone has done much re lawns,weeds for a long time. The person whoever paints the walls done a terrible job. The only thing going for it was Location

We enjoyed our stay the staff are extremely helpful premises are super clean. My only negative is the bed was pretty hard.

Room needed updating, bathroom tired and worn out but very clean. Roadside sign was difficult to spot as it was worn out as well. Driving into property it looked like it hadn’t been maintained.

Firstly on entry the door lock was falling off on the inside, and the room goes down from there, a list of problems follows. Cabinetry rotting and falling apart, Taps in bathroom basin not working, The smell of stale smoke (in a non smoking room) Flashing lights in bathroom, Light not working in room, Hair shampoo but no conditioner, Shower floor very slippery (felt slimy, not clean) Cockroaches running across room The sign for the motel was not working and no lights to show where the driveway was, which meant that the entrance was very difficult to see / in the dark which makes it dangerous because the entrance is on the main road into Shepparton.

Nice big room, Jacuzzi in the bathroom (actual Jacuzzi brand!), instant hot water for the bath, big bathroom too. Pool was cold and deep, but could have used a clean. Hot tub didn't look appealing and wasn't heated. Big undercover BBQ area available to use. Very little traffic noise from the highway, but expect some planes coming and going overhead.

My room did not have a smoke alarm, the holder was empty. they also advertise WiFi but i could not log on neither could friends of mine who were staying there. The grass needs a mow or wipper snip. On a positive note the showers were really good and the bed was firm

I booked online and didn't know the area around Shepperton and thought that we were in town but as it turned out we were 10kms south of town. That was my fault and not really a problem as we had transport and I should have been more dilligent. The hotel is directly across the highway from Shepparton airport and while the noise was not excessive it sould affect light sleepers. Overall accom was what you expect from a low-end, low-budget place.

This property is run down and in poor condition. Needs major upgrade . Entrance to hotel is dangerous off the GV Highway .

Great place out of main town area
I was in Shepparton for a 3 day course, Paradise Lakes was very well priced, clean with all I needed for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and room was spacious with a comforty bed and hot shower.

Location was perfect for what we needed as we could walk to the reception venue for a wedding we were attending. The room seemed clean to begin with, if not outdated. However, when we pulled back the sheets there was stains on the bedspread as well as the biscuits in the cupboard which were open and looked like something had eaten through the packaging. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless necessary.

The room I stayed in was very spacious however it stank of cigarettes and is probably due for an update. The attendant was very helpful and allowed me access to the laundry facilities. There was something weird that happened for 2 nights which was a guy who was standing right outside my room and speaking on the phone. I found this a bit strange and slightly annoying.

It was just OK. The location, Ok, cleanliness OK but not great, the cleanest thing was actually the pool. Gardens and outdoor areas are terrible, need some bulk weed kill and tidy up.

When we got to the room found some ones prescription drugs in one draw, dirty cloths and opened packets of chips in clothing cupboard, empty alcohol bottles outside of back door, slightly dirty or stained sheets and towels, we had two rooms one for the kids, our room had broken plasterboard in bathroom from what looked like some one punching it. Also bugs and critters in both rooms, very disappointing as was the last part of a little get away with our kids

Staff were friendly and accommodating - however, the room had a lot of mosquitoes inside. There were also items left from previous tenants so not sure on cleanliness and housekeeping doing a thorough job. There was even an already opened coke bottle left in the fridge in both rooms

Reasonable value but in need of some t l c.
Overall, a pleasant stay, and good value for what we paid. However, the property is in urgent need of some tender loving care. The carpet was old, worn and damaged which detracted from the otherwise clean feel of the room and bathroom. The curtains/tracks need repair. Reception was run down. The state of the entrance to the property from the highway, the drive, the pot plants and the general surrounds was extremely disappointing: a day’s work from a gardener or handyman would make an enormous difference. Nevertheless, we would stay again.
