"It would be absurd to take a trip to the tropics without heading downwards to the coast. The myth and legacy of Mombasa is also too tempting to not indulge into. Mombasa has several beautiful beaches that are popular destinations for sun-bathing, swimming, walking or just relaxing. Nyali and Bamburi beaches are two fantastic choices with fine hotels and eateries along the shore. For me it´s of great sentimental value to pass by Whitesands, stayed there for film shoots when we were shooting Fanta...

"Great property. Excellent food and friendly staff Property needs some love. Showing signs of wear and tear. Rooms very average. Comfortable but definitely needs to be spruced up. Beach is very clean and safe. Had a great time. Food options. Lots of Indian cuisine. Got tired of it after a couple of days. Not much seafood. Please add more international choices in the Buffett "
