"A perfectly small cottage finished to a very high standard. Top notch fittings through, beds, pillows etc all of a very high standard. A perfect base to explore that area although keighley itself is not that nice. Secure parking an added bonus. Just be aware that there is a VERY busy bus garage just meters away so you will need to sleep with your windows closed! The first night we were awoke at 5.30 with the buses all leaving! The double glazing is excellent so with the windows shut...

"Property is in such an excellent location right in the heart of the Main Street in Haworth. It is lovely inside and incredibly well equipped, and the owner Michael is so accommodating and welcoming. The property is upstairs above the shop, but it is very quiet and we heard no noise from downstairs. The car park is behind the shop, and there is a cobbled hill to walk up to get to the property. If it’s wet, this can be slippy but it’s a very short walk to go around the front to Main Street...

"Lovely little cottage, had everything we needed for our few days and was very clean. A lovely welcome package was waiting for us and it's a great location for seeing Haworth and the Brontë parsonage. Parking at the old hall was perfect as it was a short walk to the cottage. Though quite a few steps which might be difficult for older people. "

"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "Cute house in a central location. Was nice to have no tv and play games"

"Loved the views from the hot tub both day and night. There were 3 very friendly peacocks that wandered around with lots of other farm animals. Great big tv in lounge. Nice bottle of fizz left in fridge as welcome by owner. Definitely recommend this property."
