The place is very clean and modern, staff are beautiful and friendly. The other guests seem quiet and respectful. "This was a lovely place. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The pool was small but great. The only downside for us was the property’s reliance on small, single-use plastic water bottles. We were given one each upon arrival, but there was no way to refill them with filtered water on the property. In today’s world, we should all be working together to do all we can to end single use plastics and conserve resources."

"So happy to have found and stayed here. It looks a bit further away from the centre but that’s what makes it special. It is 5 mins walk away from Devils Tear which has an amazing sunset view, and also 3 mins away from Dream Beach. Dream Beach is never busy so it fell like a private beach! The Cubang Huts themselves are well taken care of by the staff. The restaurant is also handy for breakfast or lunch. Other food options are about a 10 min walk away. Overall 5-5. Definitely recommend it...

"Amazing little place! We absolutely loved it, you get free breakfast and free massages included with the price of a private room. The restaurant is one of the best around too! "You can’t beat this spot for cleanliness, value for money and above average comfort. Room was clean and airconditioned ( though the a/c was struggling a bit due to electricity phasing I think but it was effective enough for us). "Staff was so accomodating and nice. Felt well tsken care of dueing our stay. The villa qas wxactly as the pictures showed and we loved it. Only downside is other dining and shops are not wothin easy walking distance but that was also part of the appeal. We didnt want to be in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle. This also allowed us to not get stuck in traffic when our driver took us to activitiee. Overall i wpuld stay here again! "

"This was a great place for my honeymoon. Honestly ended up looking like the pictures. The staff and security were very nice and helpful. This area is right off the street of a seafood restaurant strip. So it’s only busy around sunset. However, it was always quiet there and didn’t feel like a tourist trap compared to Kuta. "Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
