"The air con duct is very noisy and especially obvious at night. I have to switch off the air con in order to sleep"

"Budget 4 stars. Breakfast buffet was decent with Asian and Western dishes. Between nasi lemak, roti canai and noodle soup, the second had the best taste. Lots of foreigners during breakfast, >50%. It got crowded and they started cleaning up before we finished! Room compact with amenities and nice shower. A/C worked well. Location across from a small forested park. There used to be a cable car station there, but don’t think it is working anymore. The hotel has a small convenience store. They say the closet mall was Sogo about 15 minutes walk in the heat."

"There are a few things that I think could improve the stay. The bathing area doesn't have a door n it causes water to splash out after bathing making it slippery"

Aloft by Marriott Kuala Lumpur Sentral

Aloft by Marriott Kuala Lumpur Sentral

10/10 Excellent
"Aloft is centrally located with direct access to the KL train hub. The KLIA Express connects to the airport smoothly. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet (around US$16 pp) with a great variety of Western and Southeastern Asian cuisines. The rooms are very spacious and sparsely furnished, with very comfortable beds and pillows (and a not-so-comfortable sofa by the window). The train hub connects to a shopping center with an extensive selection of stores and restaurants, where you can find any amenity you may need. Highly recommended hotel."

"Great king suite with nice dressing area and big bathroom. Plenty of room for 2 kids rollaways. Very clean large lounge area and extra toilet. View from bar was amazing of light shows on buildings. Very good for china town access. Was disappointed that bar was a cover charge on second night even for hotel guests for an event. Pool area needs some attention - bit grubby round tiles / few tiles missing on the pool. Buffet breakfast had lots of selection - eastern fare was best - don’t know why they bothered with the western stuff as it’s so compromised with the necessity to avoid pork. Egg station workers weren’t great with omelettes having raw onion and veg in rather than fried off first. No decaf coffee option at all (it’s part of Marriott - I don’t think for a chain like this it’s an unreasonable expectation. ) Buffet was super busy and a bit like a zoo with most users unable to grasp the context of a line to access the various stations so probably best to avoid the peak times for a better experience."
