"This is a classic & well-maintained historic hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to see the entrance, great room, grand ball room & meeting rooms kept in their original state, yet the guestrooms have been tastefully updated with modern furnishings & accoutrements. The bed was comfortable, hot water was plentiful, big screen HDTV & HVAC system performed flawlessly."

They allowed us to check in a little early and the room was ready, and they were nice and friendly for my entire stay. There were a lot of great options for breakfast which include waffles. Also, the homemade biscuits were the best biscuits I've tasted in a very long time. I didn't use the housekeeping service-but I'm sure they would have been just as great. "i really appreciated that the hotel had my room ready early and also provided me with the extra roll-away bed in my room. Staff were always friendly too. I would definitely come back. My only note would be that i didn't really care for the scent of the lobby. It did not smell pleasant. Like a musty cucumber. blech. "
