"The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent communication with the host. We would stay again if the property was closer to Havelock. The reason we booked was because Evolve had it listed as "10 minutes from Havelock." The property is located 45 to 50 minutes by car or 20 to 30 minutes by ferry. I contacted the host and Evolve contacted me, defended the posting, told me I would not receive a refund and asked if I was vacating the property. I never asked for a refund or indicated I...

"The property looked like it had been cleaned in a rush. There were clumps of dog hair on the floor and the bed linens looked like they had dog hair on them too. The air conditioner never worked right during the stay so the maintenance tech brought air units which didn’t cool the main area, only the bedrooms. The person I spoke to said the maintenance person wasn’t available until the next day and then we never heard anything else back after the window units were put in so the main living area...

"My family and I felt as if the property was in great condition for an older home. When we first arrived we couldn't get in through the front door was able to get in through the back. When I called Mr. Edgar he responded very quickly. We would stay again and we recommend staying at this property. Mr. Edgar and Mr. Hayden are great hosts and attentive."
