"We stayed in one of the attic suites during a major heatwave (~100 degrees). The hotel was a perfect refuge. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed; the bed was comfortable (with excellent linens); the marble bathroom feels very luxe (with a great shower); and the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast is made-to-order and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience."

"This is was probably my favorite stay of my business and personal travel in a long time!! I travel every month for work this is a major compliment. The staff was absolutely incredible. The recommendation for restaurants, cafes and shopping were on point. They were extremely responsive on WhatsApp and helpful with directions around the city. The apartments were impeccable and every detail wa thoughtfully considered. A gem for those who appreciate design and excellent and personable service. "

"Séjour parfait, propre, a 20 min à pied des monuments ou de la place du commerce et de l'avenue de la liberté. Très bonne communication via des mails. Le seul hic c'est la couette qui fait du bruit. Franchement je recommande et re tenterai l'expérience dans un autre Numa ."

"We always love to stay in Mama Shelter hotels. This one was no exception. Friendly staff (in most part), nice decor, great location. The roof top was amazing! Just wish they would not close the entire roof top because of a large group event......Otherwise very happy with our visit."

"Loved the place. The staff was amazing, the room was spacious, clean, had a lovely balcony and the area was quiet and safe with easy access to sites and restaurants. The hotel is located on a VERY steep hill and there is no elevator in the building so if walking is a challenge, beware!"

"This small BNB has a quiet elegance. Our room with a king size bed was on the ground floor with high ceilings and room to breathe. The bed was firm and the bathroom quite spacious. The star of the show is reception and the excellent people who staff the desk. Marianna, Jaoa and Angelino directed us around Lisbon and gave excellent advice and made reservations to insider places. The behind scenes staff provided great service including an excellent breakfast spread. This hotel is tiny,. intimate...

"What a fabulous hotel! Perfect location off the busy streets of Lisbon, all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, their breakfast was incredible. Had both heat and AV available - not always the case in Europe. I would highly recommend staying here. "
