"Both check in and out were very easy. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant on site was very good. The laundry took a little getting used to but 6 euros to wash and dry /load was reasonable especially since the 4 sets of washers/dryers have the detergent already in them. We had a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfy. Coffee and tea was complementary in the room. The hotel had a pool table and foosball table in the lobby and they offered umbrellas if you needed them. If you buy the I-Amsterdam pass transport is just a few blocks away to the #22 bus or the #19 tram. The metro, which would have been faster, was an additional add-on to the pass. The bus or tram took about 25 minutes to get in and out of the city center. There’s also a mini market steps away from the bus station with great prices on take away food, drinks and staples for the room fridge. We had a great stay and would totally recommend staying here. "

"The hotel is right beside the train, tram and bus stops, so convenient and didn't take long to get into the centre. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower with shampoo and nice bodywash. Tea and coffee in room. Buffet breakfast had a good choice and was very well organised. Staff were all brilliant and very attentive. I would not hesitate in recommending and would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a great time, only quibble is check in was 1500. We had to wait to 1630. With no offer of a complementary drink, we just sat and waited in the lobby. Then we had to ask when our room was ready! Not cool for a booked 2 x suit top of the shelf rooms - the rooms were amazing worth the wait. Reception just need to work on their hospitality, respectfully. "
"Getting to the hotel from the airport was simple and efficient, the train from Schipol airport to the city centre then the GVB 22 bus drops you right outside.
The staff were outstanding, checking in and out was hassle free and I was given advice on the city, tips and any query I had the staff at Ibis were professional and helpful.
The hotel location was ideal for me as it was quiet and public transport in the city is brilliant, the 22 bus was a God send, a Metro station is very close by and Sloterdejk train station is also within walking distance. Burger King is next door to the hotel and you can't go wrong with it, food and prices were both decent and staff were lovely.
The hotel itself is nice, great sustainable initiatives taken, my room was standard, the bathroom was small and curved like a pod, interestingly compact but did the job. Breakfast area and buffet was good, it had the things I like, ample seating and attentive staff.
The only small things I would say the hotel may need to look into are, the shower screen didn't have a seal at the bottom therefore water often splashed out of the cubicle and felt that I was wasting towels to dry it up which isn't very sustainable. I might have been unlucky but the wi-fi in my room was weak, I failed to get a good connection most of the time however it was a short break therefore not much of an issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel, I had a pleasant stay and thank you for making me feel welcome."
