"Check-in was easy. They offered an upsell, but the upgraded rooms were not ready, so I stayed at the regular rate. The room was clean, and the view of the bay was very nice. The restaurants were convenient, and although the casino was slow, the staff and dealers made the experience comfortable. My only complaint is the same issue I have with many hotels in New Jersey. The property is non-smoking, but the smell of weed in the hallways was annoying."

"My family and I stood at the Sheraton to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean hallways and the rooms were all super clean. No odor. The best of all was that the hotel is pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs and its literally around the corner from the outlets. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends and family."

"Very disappointed with my stay at Showboat. The carpets throughout the hallways looked filthy, and the chair in my room was extremely stained. Overall, it appeared that housekeeping simply made the beds rather than actually cleaning the room. The cleanliness standards were far below what I expected from a hotel. To make matters worse, the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I would not stay here again based on my experience."

You can wait for an elevator for over 20 minutes or longer and sometimes people just end up walking down (imagine having to walk down 20+ flights). "Good location with boardwalk just down the street and Asbury Park nearby with shops and eats. You should know that the thermostat is upstairs in the hallway. Bodywash, though techinically provided, was empty and no refills were available. Bed was so-so. Cozy, comfortable, eclectic neighborhood, nice people, coffee shop just a block away."
