"This place is old but it’s well maintained. The room was rather small until I figured the square footage of the balcony. There was a table and four chairs and the area was not cramped. In fact we spent much of our time on the balcony watching the street activity. The hotel has covered valet parking on site but it’s pricey, $48/night with tip >$50. "I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Loews Hotel in New Orleans. The location was fantastic — close to everything but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay.
