"Where can you see a hotel that charges another extra fees if you request for a late check out, it's not like super late check, most hotel they allowed guest to check out at noon w/o additional charges, this hotel is charging $25+tax just to request an extra hour from the original check out time. Also my beddings has a blood stain which is disgusting, the bed is worn out they should at least change their bed, it's sinking down when you sat on it what more when you lay down, it hurts my back."

"I like to stay at Holiday Inn Express, they are pretty uniform in cleanliness and amenities. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable,the pool and courtyard were clean and the hotel was pretty nice. However, in our room, the a/c wall unit was VERY noisy (was hard to get to sleep with that rattling!) and we had to run it all night for A/C, there were sheer curtains on the window with decorative curtains that didn't close and we looked at least 8 times for curtains...

"An hour after checking in and going to my room, I was advised that there was an additional $96 fee because my room had been changed from a king to two double beds. The king was unavailable. "My husband and I specifically made a 3 night reservation at the Kit Carson Lodge over the 4th of July weekend because we were told by an employee over the phone that the room included a microwave and a fridge, plates and cutlery That was not true. We arrived with multiple perishables and cooked food, o find out, upon arrival, that there were neither plates & cutlery NOR a microwave NOR a fridge. "The room was very clean and the outdoor space had lots of fire pits and chairs, along with lights. There were multiple hang out areas overlooking the creek. Beautiful sight."

By the main elevators, there were multiple boards with various recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, places to visit/go, etc. The staff was nice and full of recommendations as well. The gym was small but has everything you need even a peloton, so bring your shoes."
