"The Ambrose hotel is in a residential neighborhood which is really nice. Tartine Café is a major bonus across the street. Excellent yoga at Yoga Changes is across the street. The staff needs more experience with eye to eye contact and clarity of the Ambrose amenities. Also, they are not familiar with the neighborhood they are working in. My major concern was frustration with communication with my reservation. The manager was exhausting to satisfy a solution with the cleaning of my room....

"There is no outdoor pool. There is simply a hot tub. It is hard to tell from pictures but it Is not a pool."

"The property was nice, clean and in a very convenient location. The employees were really nice and helpful. In fact, when we asked to leave earlier than we originally booked at a non cancellable deal, the hotel manager approved it with no problem. I will go back there any time I’m in LA."

"Wonderful place to stay half a block from boys town in West Hollywood. Quaint, well appointed, cozy rooms, always welcome us when we stay. The 2nd floor sitting area with patio, coffee, tea juices and bakery items In theam, and wine in the pm is so great. Mini rooftop a 24 hour retreat to sit and overlook the hills. Staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. It’s a small boutique place with warm relaxed service."
