You can smell the cigarette smoke in the room, they were not strict with smokers in the rooms, the smoke smell is bad and this also affects the safety of my family and there is no sound insulation between the rooms but overall is good. Breakfast is excellent. Location is good between airport and city centre.

Convenient for overnight transit

Very convenient and comfortable for an overnight transit in Istanbul. Staff the spa do not speak English and it was disappointing not to be able to use the pool as this was the primary reason I chose this hotel.

Our room was amazing as was the hotel itself. The staff were very helpful and sweet. What I didn’t like was that we didn’t have the option to select English for the TV so we just kept it off the week we stayed. Kinda boring without tv while your relaxing in room. Big thumbs up for the stay!

First of all I was familiar with the hotel as they have branches in Canada . Price was with in my budget and as expected staff was very welcoming and helpful. Specially the manager name Dogan , he was curtious, gave us good recommendations and also arranged the tour for us . It was our first time in turkey but we look forward to go back in the near future due to the hospitality.

The hotel is very good but the hotel employees are not at all courteous to their guests. We had several instances during our stay where we felt that we were treated rudely and not as per their standards. They dont allow guests to use the facilities like we went to the sauna at 9:06 pm and it clearly states that it is open from 10 am - 10 pm bit the employee working there said it closes at 9 pm. We paid for the breakfast upfront for all days but they told us we did not pay whole we were taking food on one of the days. They just assumed we did not pay and did not even care to check their records to validate our upfront payment. We were stuck in the lift after we returned on the second day while we were staying in the same room. The keycard did not work. When we asked for additional keycard for the room they said we need only 2, they decide on what the guests need to do seems like. Overall a terrible experience. Only positives are good hotel and great buffet breakfast. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Despite reading some negative reviews, which did worry us upon making the booking originally, we had an excellent stay. The room given was spacious and welcoming. We had more than we originally thought we would get and the stay was a pleasant one. The only thing that comes to mind is that we had to request for the room to be cleaned numerous times upon our return. This was usually if we left late morning time. Although room cleaning is throughout the day, our room was skipped. Some days we didn’t bother to ask as we still had everything we needed such as towels, etc. when we didn’t, house cleaning would bring it to us so overall not too much of a big deal. It’s just nice to come back to a clean room. Just to reiterate another users comment (which helped prepare us 😃), ensure to bring swim caps as you need them for use in the pool. They don’t like it when it’s not worn. They do sell them but to save a bit, bring your own. All in all a very nice stay. Thank you.

The woman at the spa/pool area was very rude. Ignored us and continued her conversation while we were told we had to either purchase swim caps or we can’t swim. Which seems like a scam to me, but we purchased the caps &. Then went to the pool down halls that were pitch black. The pool is dimly lit & water is cold. The food at the pub was really some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten, which is such a shame being that Turkish cuisine is so delicious. If I’m ever back in Istanbul I will not be staying here.
