We really enjoyed our stay at Madre. Beautiful rooms with comfortable Beds, a great shower and a nice kitchen. A/C works great. We had a small dog with us and appreciated having an outdoor shower to clean all the sand off of her and for that matter ourselves before entering our room. We would definitely stay again upon return to Holbox.

Great place and friendly staff. Just be careful with the sugar ants that will find any food inside your room.

The concept is ok, keeps the property as clean as possible, but the area was full of dust. It would be a good idea to have access to cleaning supplies like a mop, broom, etc.

Delayed check in

This stay would have been fine had they not delayed my check in until 1630pm when their guarantee was supposed to be 1500. They then blamed it on my cell service around the island but WhatsApp informs you of the time it is sent regardless of the time received. They were unfriendly; unhelpful and unapologetic. I would not recommend this stay as there are better places for the same price. Other considerations- it was dusty in the room, all cement so nothing felt clean. They did have good AC, but not a great shower. Only had shampoo and no conditioner or soap.

El lugar es increíble, muy tranquilo, super céntrico, el inmueble es amplio, bonito, limpio. La alberca es súper hermosa, limpia, solo que varios días estuvo en mantenimiento 😭 , adicional nos hizo falta un espejo de cuerpo completo, para el sofá cama hizo falta una almohada, y también estaría bien un kit de limpieza para nosotros mismo barrer, o limpiar la arena. Increíble lugar, volvería

Una excelente opción si quieres visitar Holbox. Está muy bien ubicado a tan solo una cuadra del centro y a 5 del ferry por qué lo que puedes llegar fácil y rápido. Los cuartos son limpios y cómodos. La piscina es de un buen tamaño y para pasar un rato agradable. El personal es muy amable y educado. Muy pendientes de todo. El lugar es seguro.
