Digno. Personal muy amable

El personal es muy amable y voluntarioso. Las instalaciones generales son feas, de apariencia descuidada. El wifi tiene inconvenientes y la luz suele cortarse pero es algo habitual en la isla y no un problema del hotel. Las habitaciones son limpias, dignas, con ropa de cama aceptable y relativamente cómodas. La ubicación es practica a mitad de camino entre el ferry y la playa. No es un establecimiento memorable ni tampoco un desastre. Solo un lugar de precio accesible que no es lindo ni pretende serlo.

El hostel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, a pocas cuadras del puerto. En la habitación hay un frigobar, algo muy positivo y poco habitual en este tipo de alojamiento. Hay baño privado a unos metros de la habitación. Tiene cocina de uso común con todo lo necesario para preparar una comida rápida. El alojamiento es ideal para descansar ya que no hay actividad nocturna como en otros hostel. Muy buena relacion precio/calidad

Holbox è un’isola paradisiaca in più al Holding paradise hostel si respira un’aria di tranquillità, si trova vicino al porto quando sbarchi non servono taxi sei vicino al centro e alle spiagge, l’unica spiaggia che se non hai voglia di camminare ( via spiaggia meglio) una 30 minuti è punta coco ma vi posso assolutamente assicurare che se andate via spiaggia ammirate il panorama è in un attimo siete arrivati . Il personale é molto disponibile . Lo consiglio vivamente

Nice and quiet place on Holbox

Well kept, clean and nice hostel which is more like a simple hotel. Staff was really friendly. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay while in Holbox, I can only recommend the place. It’s just a few blocks away from the center of the island.

Durchwachsen

Puh, mit dieser Bewertung tue ich mich schwer. Holbox ist toll, aber wenn man dorthin kommt weiß man auch bzw merkt schnell, dass der Standart dort nicht mit dem Rest von Yucatan vergleichbar ist. Schade fand ich aber, dass das Hotel mit Abstand das teuerste und gleichzeitig schlechteste auf unserer Rundreise war. Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, so war es nachts relativ ruhig. Internet gab es nur in der Nähe der Rezeption und ziemlich langsam. Scheint auf der ganzen Insel so zu sei, also OK. Leider war das Zimmer ziemlich dreckig, Wasser gab es längere Zeit nicht und überall hingen unfreundliche Schilder (Handtücher nicht schmutzig machen, Gepäck wird nicht aufbewahrt, eine Liste mit Strafzahlungen), jeder Winkel wird kameraüberwacht und es wimmelte nur so vor Mücken (im Rest der Insel war es lange nicht so schlimm). Auch die einzigen Kakerlaken auf unserer Rundreise (7 Hotels und 16 Nächte) fanden wir hier.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Leider hatte ich einen fetten Fleck (irgendwas muss irgendwo durchtropft sein als das Bett schon bezogen war, da ansonsten alles sauber war) bei Ankunft auf meinem Laken (habe ich erst vor dem zu Bett gehen gesehen). Die Rezeption ist bis ca 22 Uhr besetzt, so dass ich erst am nächsten Tag ein neues Laken bekam. Das Zimmer selbst ist geräumig, jedoch nicht groß, es gibt nur eine Gepäckablage und einen Tisch (wir haben beides für die großen Rucksäcke genutzt). Aus der Dusche kam an einem Tag kein heißes Wasser, die Angestellten waren jedoch sehr bemüht das Problem zu beheben so dass wir nicht kalt duschen mussten. An einem anderen Tag hatten wir jedoch gar kein Wasser als wir duschen wollten, auch das Problem wurde behoben. Das Hostel liegt nicht im Dorfkern, man muss etwa 5 Minuten laufen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt, bei dem man sich nicht an „kleinen Schönheitsfehlern“ stört ist das Hostel gut geeignet. :)
