"This hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for a short trip to the Minneapolis-St Paul area. It was conveniently located for all the places we needed to go. (Essentially a quiet area, but very close to both Rt 52 and I-494. It was also walking distances to 4 or 5 decent places to eat, and we went to 2 nice parks that were within a 10 - 15 minute drive. "First two positives, the male employee at check in was very pleasant to work with (wish I got his name) and the bed was comfortable after I cleaned it off. However, the young lady who was at the counter, was more interested in her tablet and phone than acknowledging when guest spoke. Never in my life have I stayed a more safety hazard prone hotel. The elevator button is smashed in, myself and another couple were stuck at the door wouldn't stay open. There was piles of trash left out in the...

"this is a favorite property, love the design and location. Restaurant is outstanding and staff top notch. Really clean rooms. One very small point, upgrade toilet paper quality please."

"Nice inexpensive hotel"

"The room was clean, but could use an update. The elevator was out of order. The room above us looked like it had water leaks at one time and the floors above were very squeaky. The breakfast was adequate- waffles, eggs, cereal, fruit, the floor was full of crumbs. The staff was helpful."

"My room was dirty. The carpet had stains, there was mold, the sheets had stains and holes. I didn’t use the jacuzzi the room came with because there were dirty streaks in it. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. The towels had stains on them. The cabinets had broken doors."

"Do not stay here - the extra door lock is a chain that could easily be broken into. The site reeks of cigarette smoke and the rooms are in desperate need of upgrades - wall air/heating units don’t have a cord to plug in, toilets don’t flush, etc."

"Room was stinky smelled like bo , bed was super worn , door safety latch in room was missing , continental breakfast was terrible , just bread and frozen waffles . No fruit, yogurt etc "

"The staff was great. The rooms just need some type of air freshener or more of a deep cleaning so smells of previous guest are not lingering. Aside from that I have no complaints"

"The room was in ill repair. The one sink didn’t drain and the other had the stopper stuck. The balance over the door to the outside was not attached on one side. There was a bag of trash outside our door to the grassy area. The chairs for the porch were broken. The keys cards to the door c kept not working. The type of person staying at the hotel were one step short of skid row. The hallways smelled like marijuana."

"Didn't like having to pay extra for parking. That's a dumb trend."
