"It was a steep hill to climb with luggage. Taxi's were not available even though the website said you can take a taxi. The Hotel has many levels and no elevator. Given that we were fit we managed to drag our suitcases up the hill. Not very accessible for people with disabilities. We enjoyed our stay the room was minimally appointed. The aesthetics were simple & clean."

"Extremely convenient location. Indoor passage all the way from JR Okayama Station to the hotel. Very clean, very kind staff. One can do most of the shopping without going out since it is connected underground to several shopping centers. No need for an umbrella, even if it rains. A bit expensive compared to other hotels."

"Although basic and rustic, the room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen had everything you need: fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishes and cutlery, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and hot water. Communications with the property owner were quick, responsive, and helpful. This is also an excellent location on the island. Loved Naoshima, loved our two nights at Quaint House! Highly recommend."

"Vety friendly, helpful staff. Free coffee and soft drinks 24/7. The free breakfast was a combination of about 10 different breads and pastories. Great location, about a 8 min walk from the station. Family Mart 2 minute walk away. Lots of restaurants close by. A very basic hotel, still using a key to enter the room. But very clean and homely feel. Would definately recommend it and would stay there again."
