"I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "Front of house staff very friendly and welcoming. One of the bar staff also very friendly. Hotel location very convenient for closeness to city centre but quiet (which was fab!). One piece of friendly feedback, housekeeping not very efficient as where we had left the room in the morning ready for exploring, we returned 6 hours later and room had not been made up by housekeeping. "Incredible stay. Staff were lovely. Arrived at the hotel and asked about an adapted room. Instantly swapped from my original booking, without an issue. Encouraged to book in half an hour early. "For the price and with breakfast it really all wasn’t too bad but the room had no a/c the fans supplied were fine but the room and whole upstairs if the hotel was roasting hot! Breakfast was fine, nothing special but a decent variety. The staff were helpful and friendly though"

"The property was clean and the room was perfect for what we needed however I wouldn’t book again due to the behaviour of the security guard. We had just arrived and he was hanging around our rooms which was pretty unsettling. We had booked two rooms and my son came to the 2nd room making little noise and was spoken to badly by this security man telling him to “get to his room now”.
